Borrowing and Returning Library Books

Borrowing

  1. The borrower selects a book in the library.
  2. The book is brought to the librarian, and the librarian processes it by recording it into the borrowing list, which includes the identity of the borrower (name, NIM/NIDN, telephone number, address) and the identity of the book.
  3. The librarian informs the user of the return date of the book. The length of the loan is two weeks and can be extended once for one week. The borrower must return the collection no later than the end of the loan period. The maximum number of take-away loans is two library collections.
  4. After the process is complete, the borrower can get the book.
  5. The borrower submits the library collection, which will be returned to the librarian. The librarian matches the return date of the library collection on the loan transaction. If the borrower will extend the loan, return to the book borrowing procedure by bringing physical evidence. The librarian keeps the library collection returned to the shelf/cupboard.
